Dr. Amutha. N completed her B.E. (2003) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Govt.
College of Engineering, Salem, M.E. (2006 – through GATE 2004) in Power System from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai and PhD (2015) in Power System (Wind) from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai.
She had undergone one-year training in IPR program sponsored by DST, India under the Women Scientist Scheme – C. She cleared the patent agent examination in 2018. She is presently working as Assistant Professor in Nalanda College of Engineering, Chandi, Bihar.
N. Kumutha completed her B.E (ECE) and M.E (Optical Communication) from Government College of Engineering, Bargur and A.C.College of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi on 2004 and 2007 respectively. She joined her Ph.D under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) fellowship co-ordinated by IISC., Bangalore during 2014 to 2018 at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. She has been recognized as a ‘Chartered Engineer’ by The Institute of Engineers (India) and also featured in the DST booklet of 75 women scientist achievers released by Hon’ble Minister Dr. Jitender Singh on March 8, 2022.
She had a teaching experience of 10 years and industrial experience of 2 years. She had undergone one-year training in IPR program sponsored by DST, India under the Women Scientist Scheme – C at Patent Facilitating Centre (PFC), Technology, Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council (TIFAC). She had an experience related to Patent Searching in various databases, Patent filing and Drafting, Patent Prosecution.
Currently, she is playing the role as a Women Scientist ‘B’ under WISE KIRAN Division Scheme, Department of Science & Technology (DST), India at IIT Patna, Bihar.
